Oversee staffing requirements, work procedures, or duty assignments for Dental Technicians
Direct or coordinate production of a dental laboratory.
Develop or implement quality control systems.
Review operations and confer with technical staff to resolve production or processing problems.
Hire, train, evaluate, or discharge Dental Technicians.
Prepare and maintain production reports or personnel records.
Set and monitor product standards for staff Dental Technicians.
Develop budgets or approve expenditures for supplies, materials, or human resources.
Develop new products or production processes.
Maintain current knowledge of Dental Technology.
Negotiate materials prices with suppliers.
Provide new employee training for all departments, including the CAD/CAM, Porcelain, Denture and Wax/Metal departments.
Associate’s degree in Dental Laboratory Technology, plus 10 years of experience as a Dental Lab Manager required.
