This prcedure prepares two screw-retained PMMA temporaries: one for the patient and one for the doctor to
adjust and send back to the lab. this allows the patient to start using the screw-retained restoration much earlier
than in Option One. It is also much more accurate, as there are plenty of changes for adjustments. The
verification jig procedure must be completed prior to following this procedure guide.
Once the lab receives the final impression with the implant
verification jig, the lab will send a wax rim for the doctor obtain
patient’s the bite and vertical dimension(VD). At this stage the
doctor makes adjustments to the patients bite and VD to optimally
fit their patient.
The wax rims are used to create two PMMA temporary dentures. One
PMMA temporary denture will have is midline, smile line, vertical
dimension, speech, teeth setup, occlusion, and any aesthetic design
adjusted by the doctor. The other PMMA temporary denture will
delivered to the patient to wear during the final restoration process.
One the chairside adjustments have been made. the doctor sends
the adjusted temporary denture back to the lab.
Based on the confirmed teeth setup by the doctor, the lab fabricates
the final restoretion.
